Introduction to My Literary Works
I am a proud Puerto Rican independent author bursting with creativity! I was born and raised as an only child in The Bronx, New York. I was nurtured by my maternal aunt, whose strength and kindness shaped my storytelling. Now, as an independent author, I embrace the art of narrative. I’ve just released “Emily: Different Kinds of Love,” Book One and I’m currently bringing Books Two and Three to life. Alongside these, I am crafting both my poignant memoir and a growing series of children’s books. Join me on this journey as I bring stories to life that celebrate family, belonging, and self-discovery.
Writing for young readers
In addition to the captivating world of my Emily Series, I’m dedicated to igniting imagination and creativity in young readers. Through vivid narratives and relatable characters, each page invites curiosity, empathy, and a lifelong love of reading. I write for children ages 5 to 12, creating stories that spark imagination across childhood and into the tween years. I ensure that each story is a bridge-connecting us culturally, through our experiences and shared human wonder.
Looking Ahead: Upcoming Projects
Mark your calendars for February 14, 2027, when I will debut my adult memoir (for mature readers only). This poignant work will illuminate my turbulent childhood in The Bronx-abandoned by my biological mother, raised by my maternal grandmother, and navigating a rough adolescence, including a teenage pregnancy at 16. I invite readers to join me on this reflective journey as I share raw anecdotes and insights that shaped me. It was this very pain that inspired the Emily series- a beacon of hope and joy, the childhood I never had, but always dreamed of, now brought to life through my books.
